What is IRHO?

IRHO is a student run organization that serves as a central point for education, networking, recognizing and fostering leadership, programming, resources, and assisting residence hall organizations on all member campuses. Currently there are thirteen member schools, and we are recruiting new schools all the time. Every spring of the year IRHO has a conference. This conference is hosted by a member school. The 2002 conference will be held at Ball State University, February 15-17.

Our Organizational Mission

IRHO Mission Statement

The mission of the Indiana Residence Hall Organization (IRHO) shall be as follows:
-Facilitate communication between Indiana colleges and universities
-Recognize outstanding student and organization accomplishments
-Serve as a resource and a reference
-Develop positive leadership skills
-In addition, IRHO shall encourage further growth of personal and organization involvement and promote the concept of residence hall life to all colleges and universities in Indiana and beyond.

Costs?

IRHO membership is $40.00/year.  We are the least expensive sub-regional organization in GLACURH.  Currently, the $40 goes directly to the IRHO operating budget in order to better serve schools with school visits, more recognition opportunities and more resources relieve the schools from having to support the Directorhip members.
